As a GATE employee, you work to push the boundaries of human knowledge and explain the unexplainable, including various anomalies and paranormal phenomena, from gravity-defying artifacts to supernatural beings with a violent instinct. Security and secrecy are paramount... most of the time.

A catastrophic failure in security systems has turned your workplace into a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities roam free, enemies from other dimensions burst through portals, and a secret military sect known as the Order indiscriminately attacks labs and staff in an attempt to seize artifacts and wreak havoc.

Containment procedures haven't worked and there's nowhere to wait for help. You and your fellow scientists, with whom you find yourself deep underground, need to join forces to get out, and until that happens, you will have to settle in the underground complex.
